Patients of Family Medical Centers,
This is a correction to the previous letter you received. The previous version had an incorrect phone number for Robin Reynolds.
The Consolidated Appropriations Act was enacted in December 2022. This law includes significant changes to the continuous enrollment of Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). These changes will take effect on April 1 st and states will resume normal eligibility and enrollment operations. Beginning April 1 st states can terminate Medicaid coverage for those individuals who are no longer eligible. It has been multiple years since eligibility has been checked. FMC would like to remind all individuals with Medicaid coverage to renew their coverage; we are available to assist with the coverage renewal process. The renewal can be done online, in person, by mail, or over the phone. Copies of your proof of income, resources (such as cash, savings, checking, real property, stocks, bonds, etc.), proof of citizenship or alien status, pregnancy if applicable, other insurance, proof of your age or disability will be required.
